Blox Privacy Policy

Introduction
We at Blox Medical, LLC (“Company“) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through ongoing commitment to this policy. This policy describes:
- The types of information we may collect or that you may provide when you download, install, access, or use the Blox mobile application (the “App“), including engaging with our interactive content and services available via the App (the “Services” and together with the App and any other Company products and services, our “Products”)).
- Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This policy applies only to information we collect via our Products, and in other electronic communications sent through or in connection with this our Products. This Policy does not apply to information you provide to or is collected by any third party (see Third-Party Information Collection).
Use of the Blox website or any third-party platforms or sites may be governed by independent privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing information on or through them.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, register with, or use our Products. By downloading, registering with, or using our Products, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy) at our discretion, likely but not necessarily in response to changes in state or federal laws or technology updates. Your continued use of our Products after we revise this policy means you accept those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.
Our Products are not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal and/or personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal and/or personally identifiable information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, without the required consent, please contact us at admin@bloxmedical.com.
Information We Collect and How We Collect It
We collect information from and about users of our Products:
- Directly from you when you provide it to us.
- Automatically when you use our Products.
When you download, register with, or use our Products, we may ask you to provide information:
- By which you may be personally identified, such as your first and last name, email address, telephone number, or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline (“personal information“).
- That is about you but individually does not identify you in isolation, such as but not limited to your type of profession (e.g. PA, NP, MD, DO), student or clinician status, practice setting (e.g. urgent care, emergency department, outpatient family practice, internal medicine), years of experience (e.g. student, 0-1, 2-4, 5+).
This information includes:
- Information that you provide by completing forms in our Products. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Products, subscribing to our service, and/or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Products.
- Information that you submit to our Products to use their features and functionality.
- Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses and phone numbers), if you contact us.
- Details of transactions you carry out through our Products and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through our Products.
Automatic Information Collection and Tracking
When you download, access, and use our Products, it may use technology to automatically collect:
- Usage Details. When you access and use our Products, we may automatically collect certain details of your access to and use of our Products, including traffic data and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on or through our Products.
- Device Information. When you launch our App or access our Services on a mobile device, your device sends some information about itself automatically, like its Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser type, and language, and may send additional information upon request like its screen size, operating system, and preferences.
If you do not want us to collect this information do not download our Products and/or delete our Products from your device. For more information, see Your Choices About Our Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Your Information.
Information Collection and Tracking Technologies
The technologies we use for automatic information collection may include:
- Cookies (or mobile cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on your mobile device. It may be possible to refuse to accept mobile cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your smartphone. However, if you select this setting, you may be unable to access certain parts of our Products.
- Web Beacons. Portions of our Products may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related app statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain app content and verifying system and server integrity).
Third-Party Information Collection
When you use our Products or its content, certain third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device. These third parties may include but are not necessarily limited to:
- Your mobile device manufacturer.
- Your mobile service provider.
- Google Sign-in.
- Apple Sign-in.
These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Products. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites, apps, and other online services websites. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.
We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information, to:
- Provide you with our Products and its contents, and any other information, products, or services that you request from us.
- Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
- Give you notices about your subscription, including expiration and renewal notices.
- Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including under the Blox Terms of Service.
- Notify you when Product updates are available, and of changes to any products or services we offer or provide though it.
- Send you direct marketing, such as information about products, services, offers, promotions, news or events offered by Company and others we think will be of interest to you.
As further described in the Blox Terms of Service, we may collect usage data to help us improve our Products and to deliver a better and more personalized experience. Our Products may use and and implement artificial intelligence and machine learning elements, including without limitation generative artificial intelligence, AI models and AI analytical tools (collectively, “AI Features”). Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual or device, without restriction.
In addition, we may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our Products and business (including our third-party cloud service providers).
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Blox Medical, LLC’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Blox Medical, LLC about our Product users is among the assets transferred.
- To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
- For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
- With your consent (including consent provided in our Blox Terms of Service and similar user agreements).
- To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
- To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, for billing and collection.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Blox Medical, LLC, our customers, or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Your Choices About Our Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Your Information
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. This section describes mechanisms we provide for you to control certain uses and disclosures of over your information.
- Tracking Technologies. For our website Products, you can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies or block the use of other tracking technologies, some parts of our websites may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
- As of the effective date, we do not: (1) use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to advertisers’ target-audience preferences; or, (2) share your personal information with unaffiliated or non-agent third parties for advertising and marketing purposes.
We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI“) on the NAI’s website.
Your State Privacy Rights
State privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding our use of their personal information.
Under certain circumstances by law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information. This enables you to receive details of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are processing it lawfully.
- Request correction of the personal information we hold about you. You may ask us to correct personal information we hold about you if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request erasure of your personal information. In some circumstances, such as where we no longer need it or if you withdraw your consent (where applicable), you may ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have exercised your right to object to processing (see below).
- Request the restriction processing of your personal information. You may ask us to suspend the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances, such as where you contest the accuracy of the information or object to our use or stated legal basis.
- Object to our processing of your personal information. Where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes.
- Request the transfer of your personal information to another party.
- Withdraw your consent. If your personal information is processed based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, in which case we must stop processing the information unless we have another legitimate basis for process for doing so in law. You may also ask us to explain the consequences of denying or withdrawing your consent.
As of the effective date, we do not knowingly meet the required thresholds for state privacy laws based on sales, customer, or residency thresholds; however, if you believe you be able to exercise any of the above rights, please contact us using the information below.
You will not usually have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is clearly unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances.
We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access the information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is another appropriate security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.
Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alternation, and disclosure.
We may update our privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will post the new privacy policy on our website or otherwise in our Products (e.g., in an “About” or “Legal” tab).
The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the privacy policy. You are responsible for periodically visiting this privacy policy to check for any changes.
