Stop second guessing ortho patients and X-rays.
We'll walk through real cases so you can quickly recognize what matters and know exactly what to do next. Led by an ortho PA working with urgent care providers every day.
Designed for NPs, PAs, and clinicians who want more confidence managing orthopedic complaints in real practice.
8-Week Live Cohort • Starts April 7 • Limited to 10 Clinicians (5 spots already filled)
Who This Program Is For
You’re not “bad” at ortho. You just haven’t been taught it in a way that actually sticks when you’re seeing real patients. We can help.
If you’ve ever thought:
• “Is that a fracture or is it normal?”
• “What splint should I use for this injury?”
• “Does ortho need to see this tomorrow or can it wait?”
• “Should I immobilize this even if the X-ray is negative?”
• “What do I tell the patient before they leave?”
This program was built for you.
Blox Ortho Intensive is especially helpful for:
• Nurse Practitioners
• Physician Assistants
• Urgent Care Clinicians
• Primary Care Providers
• Early-career clinicians who want to feel more confident managing orthopedic complaints
What You'll Learn
Here’s exactly the kind of content we’ll focus on.
Topics Include:
• How to actually read MSK X-rays (without overcalling)
• The subtle injuries clinicians miss all the time
• Fracture vs normal variant (accessory bones, growth plates, etc.)
• What to splint, and how to splint it correctly
• When to immobilize even if the X-ray is negative
• When ortho needs to see them… and when it can wait
• When additional imaging (like MRI) actually changes management
• What to tell patients before they leave
We'll also cover common pitfalls, including:
• Mallet finger and tendon injuries that don’t show on X-ray
• Knee injuries after a “pop” (and what you might be missing)
• Lacerations that are actually open fractures
• Mimics like gout, septic arthritis, and infected bursitis
Here's How It Works

• X-ray interpretation and pattern recognition
• What actually matters clinically
• How to make decisions in real scenarios
• Open Q&A so you can ask about your own cases
Sessions are recorded for participants who cannot attend live.

Learn from someone who sees these cases every day
Andrew Roden, PA-C
Andrew works in orthopedics and regularly helps urgent care and primary care clinicians manage musculoskeletal complaints in real-world settings.
He understands exactly where things get confusing — especially when the X-ray isn’t clear and the clinical picture doesn’t match.
This program is built around the cases he sees every day and the questions clinicians actually struggle with: what to look for, what to order, and what to do next.

FAQ
Do I need to attend every session live?
No. All sessions will be recorded and available to participants if you cannot attend live.
However, attending live allows you to ask questions and participate in case discussions.
Who is this program designed for?
Blox Ortho Intensive is designed for NPs, PAs, healthcare students and clinicians who want more confidence managing orthopedic complaints in clinical practice.
Many participants will be early-career providers, but the program is helpful for any clinician who regularly sees musculoskeletal injuries.
Will this program offer CME?
At this time, this program is offered as a clinical education program and does not currently offer CME credit.
We may explore CME options for future cohorts.
What if I have a clinical question during the course?
Participants can bring questions to weekly office hours, where we discuss clinical scenarios and reinforce key concepts from the program.
Please note that these discussions are educational and not specific medical advice.
Will This Actually Help Me?
Yes. This program focuses on real clinical decision-making, not textbook orthopedics.
Each session uses case-based scenarios to walk through common orthopedic complaints clinicians see in urgent care and primary care. We focus on practical questions like:
• Is this a fracture or a normal variant?
• Should this be immobilized?
• What splint should I use?
• Does this patient need urgent orthopedic follow-up?
The goal of the program is to give you clear frameworks you can apply immediately in practice.
How many clinicians are in the cohort?
The founding cohort is limited to 10 clinicians.
This allows sessions to remain interactive and gives participants the opportunity to ask questions and discuss cases.
What happens after the program ends?
Participants will retain recordings of the live sessions and will also have Blox app access for one month after the program ends.
What if the program isn’t a good fit for me?
Because the cohort size is limited, all registrations are final. If you have questions about whether the program is right for you, feel free to reach out before enrolling.
