Activity Learning Objectives – After Attending This Program, You Should Be Able To
1. Describe the key diagnostic criteria, differential diagnoses, and management protocols for at least five common acute presentations in urgent care and family medicine settings.
2. Differentiate between various evidence-based treatment options and formulate a patient-centered management plan for a given clinical scenario.
3. Utilize the Blox clinical decision support tool at the point-of-care to guide diagnostic workups and treatment decisions, thereby reducing reliance on non-validated information sources.
4. Examine patient cases to determine appropriate steps in the diagnostic and therapeutic process, integrating visual references and step-by-step procedure guides.
5. Incorporate a systematic approach to patient encounters to improve efficiency and confidence in independent decision-making, moving from a reactive to a proactive mindset in their clinical reasoning.
